Jonas Arrais: Associate Secretary of the Ministerial Association for Elders. Jonas came to the GC from Brazil in 2005. He holds a bachelor's in Theology, a Master of Divinity Degree, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Andrews University. He has more than 30 years of experience as a minister and has served for 5 years as Associate Ministerial Secretary for the South American Division of SDA. He currently is the editor of the Elder's Digest   magazine and also conducts Elder's Training Seminars to pastor's and elder's worldwide. He is the author of "A Positive Church in a Negative World" and "Wanted:A Good Pastor". He speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

Alfredo Garcia-Marenko (MBA, BTh, AA, ordained minister, international speaker with wide experience in youth leadership and family life): Alfredo is Assistant to Pastor Jonas Arrais and Editorial Assistant for the Elder’s Digest magazine. He served as Associate Youth Director of the General Conference and Senior Youth Leader for young adults and university students. His editorial portfolio includes various posting for the Adventist Review, Adventist World, College and University Dialogue and Youth Ministry Accent magazines of the General Conference. He was also editor of the Youth Leadership magazine of the Inter-American Division and has edited and published many Youth Ministries handbooks, policies, guidelines, and numerous articles and sermons. Before joining the General Conference Alfredo served as pastor, administrator, and departmental director. He was youth director in three local conferences, Executive Secretary of the then Central American Union, and for 12 years he served as Youth, Family Life and Chaplaincy Director of the Inter-American Division. His wife Raquel works at the GC White Estate. They have two young adult married children and two grandchildren who are sixth-generation Adventists. His working agenda intentionally includes exalting Jesus and teaching Christian values to new generations.
